TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PLACING ORDERS

For placing a special order a 50% deposit from the invoice amount is required. After receiving a deposit, the order is sent to the manufacturer for the production. Once the special order is confirmed by the client and sent to the manufacturer, it cannot be cancelled or changed. Upon its completion, the Customer should pay off his/her balance in full prior to delivery. After receiving of the full payment, our representative will contact you to schedule a delivery. Standard terms for delay are approximately 12-14 weeks.

SIZE AND DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT

All dimensions, volumes and weights shown in the price-list or on the web-site should be considered as informative, there may be little differences.

METHODS OF PAYMENT ACCEPTED

In order to pay your purchase you can choose from several secure payment methods, that we accept:
Visa, MasterCard, Certified Checks or Cash for in-store payments only. Bank Draft, Wire Transfer, E-transfer or Money order. Payment on delivery, only in cash, prior to unloading the merchandise.
Famaliving also offers an interest free Desjardins’ Accord D financing plan for up to 24 months.

RETURN POLICY

Due to the customizable nature of Fama furniture any special orders confirmed by the Customer for production by e-mail, cannot be cancelled or modified. If the Customer refuses to pay the balance of the furniture manufactured in accordance with his special order, the deposit paid by the Customer, will not be refunded and the furniture will not be delivered as long as the balance is not paid. Special orders are final sale, and cannot be returned or exchanged. The 50% deposits are non-refundable.

FLOOR MODELS

All Floor Model Sales are final sales and no cancellations or returns are accepted.

DISCONTINUED ITEMS

In some cases items can be discontinued without notice. In this situation the Customer will be contacted with a replacement or similar product. In this case the order can be cancelled without penalty.

WAREHOUSE STORAGE

When the ordered merchandise arrives to Famaliving’s warehouse and is ready to be delivered, the Customer will be contacted by our representative to schedule a delivery. As an option, a merchandise pick up is also available at our warehouse. For a pick up of your furniture at our warehouse, a 24 hours notice is required.
If delivery is not taken within 30 days of completion, storage charges will be applied. Storage rates are 10% of the purchased merchandise per month.

CLAIMS

If Customer makes any claims against Famaliving, Customer agrees that the venue for such claims will be in the City of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

OWNERSHIP

Famaliving remains the owner of the goods until they have been fully paid together with all other fees owed to Famaliving by the Customer.
